Hello everyone! My name is Jared Kendall and I am the Lead Graphic Designer and Marketing of Programs at LIFE Inc. I also currently run the Hub City Ink Vocational Program and the Hub City Ink Graphics Studio.
Over the years I have been blessed with gaining a great deal of schema working with individuals whom identify as being dyslexic or deaf, Deaf, and/or Hard of Hearing. Among other things, I spent several years working for the Lubbock School District as an Interpreter for the Deaf and eventually found my way to LIFE Inc while searching for a better way to educate and advocate for the young individuals in our community. I enjoy spend most of my free time with my wife and two boys at home. When I have the chance, I also enjoy designing graphics, scuba diving, camping, hiking, and traveling.
I am so excited to bring you my own experiences as an individual who struggled greatly with dyslexia, reading, writing, testing and sometimes still do on occasion. I'd like to share with you some of my experience, downfalls, and how I have been able to overcome some of the greatest obstacles that I have been presented with at home, at work, and in the community.
