OUR SERVICES
ASL INTERPRETING
PROGRAM
Serving people with disabilities since 2003, our interpreting program operates
under Lifetime Independence for Everyone, Inc.

USING AN INTERPRETER:
-
Speak directly to the person that is deaf or hard of hearing, not the interpreter.
-
Maintain eye contact with the person who is deaf or hard of hearing.
-
Use a normal speaking voice and rate of speed.
-
Allow the interpreter to stand or sit next to or behind the speaker.
-
Allow ample time for interpretation to take place.
