LIFE/RUN Center for Independent Living is committed to providing individuals with disabilities the information and skills necessary to become independent and to achieve full inclusion in every aspect of their life.
The purpose of this position is to provide independent living services to Consumers who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
We provide community awareness, relocation and transition services to assist people who live in nursing facilities to transition back into the community with supports in place to assure a safe, successful transition. Services are available to people of all ages, with all types of disabilities.
Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs has awarded LIFE/RUN housing subsidy vouchers to assist people with disabilities as they transition from nursing facilities back into the community. The vouchers are available for Lubbock county only.
