Hub City Access

The 3rd Annual Focus on Access Gala was a great success! We hope we'll see you next year!
Hub City Access is a non-profit formed by advocates, healthcare providers and Consumers, who wish to lead the way in making Lubbock, Texas more accessible to ALL of its citizens.
How can you help?
Many Lubbock citizens are not able to shop or enjoy all that Lubbock offers because they simply cannot get through the door. Is your favorite store or restaurant accessible to a wheelchair user or a person who is blind or has a hearing loss? If not, you may want to join Hub City Access in accomplishing its goal to: MAKE LUBBOCK ACCESSIBLE!
Some Common Barriers:
· Narrow Doorways
· Steps with No Ramps
· Inaccessible Entrances
· Inaccessible Restrooms
· Narrow Store Aisles
· Round Faucet Handles in Restrooms
· Inadequate Accessible Parking
Hub City Access was established through the Lester E. Wolcott Memorial Foundation.
